Melissa’s legal journey began with extensive experience in various aspects of litigation. As an Associate Attorney in her previous positions, she handled a wide range of legal matters, including labor law, ERISA actions, probate, trust litigation, and employment law. At TLD Law, Melissa contributes this broader scope of experience to the litigation team, handling all aspects of a matter—from pre-litigation negotiations to trial and post-judgment motions.
Fluent in Spanish, Melissa’s linguistic abilities enable her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients. She is admitted to practice in multiple federal districts in California, including the Central, Southern, and Eastern Districts, and has a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape of her practice.
Melissa’s commitment to the legal profession and her clients is evident in her thorough, thoughtful approach to representation. Her experience began as a Law Clerk at The Law Help Center, APLC, where she supported attorneys on a variety of assignments ranging from drafting discovery to conducting legal research.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling and artistic pursuits such as painting and sketching.
