IN THE COMMUNITY
TLD Law was founded on many fundamental pillars, including service, and the firm has long been recognized for its extensive community involvement. Since opening its doors in 1961, TLD Law attorneys and staff have continually found great personal and professional satisfaction in regularly volunteering their time to support a wide variety of charitable and community organizations throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties, some of which are listed below.

THE ARC OF LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTIES
The ARC of Los Angeles and Orange Counties helps adults and children with intellectual and other developmental disabilities work toward their own goals through training, education and job placement. TLD Law attorneys have served on the organization’s board over the years and have represented the Arc on a pro bono basis. Every year, we organize a team for The Arc Walk for Independence in the spring in Downey. We’re also proud to have Arc-trained employees on staff at TLD Law, assisting with copying, filing and other administrative tasks.
SUSAN G. KOMEN ORANGE COUNTY RACE FOR THE CURE
Each year, TLD Law forms a corporate team to participate in the
Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure in Newport Beach. Each year, nearly 25,000 participants attend the largest Race for the Cure in California and TLD Law is proud to be a part of its fundraising efforts.
WORKING WARDROBES
In 2012, TLD Law proudly partnered with local nonprofit
Working Wardrobes to launch “Law Suits & Legal Briefs,†a firm-wide clothing drive and campaign. Working Wardrobes helps men, women, veterans and young adults by providing career-development skills and wardrobing services, thus enabling them to overcome the challenge of re-entering the workforce following a life crisis. TLD Law donated more than 1,100 gently used suits and volunteered with clients from Phoenix House, assisting them with résumé and interview skills as well as wardrobe choices.
HOLIDAY CHARITY GIVING
Each holiday season, TLD Law provides families and children in need with meals and gifts during the holiday season. The firm works with several different regional charities dedicated to this noble cause.
Last year, TLD Law adopted families through the
Exchange Club Family Support Center in Long Beach and
Share Our Selves in Irvine, providing meals and gifts for those unable to provide for themselves. TLD Law also adopted a kindergarten class from 68th Street Elementary in Los Angeles and supported foster children through
Trinity Youth Services in Long Beach so the kids could have a joyous holiday.
