Biography
Jonathan Coleman, a seasoned trial attorney specializing in civil, probate, and trust litigation, currently serves as a senior associate at TLD Law. Since joining TLD Law, Jonathan has become a stalwart member of the litigation team, engaging in a diverse range of cases, including business and partnership disputes, elder abuse, trust litigation, estate administration, employment law, unlawful detainer, and real estate litigation.
His trial expertise shines through as evidenced by over a dozen bench trials completed, spanning from contested conservatorships to property line disputes and unlawful detainers. Jonathan has completed two jury trials to verdict, including one notable highlight co-chairing an employment jury trial that resulted in a resounding 12-0 defense verdict for a TLD client.
His extensive experience in civil and probate litigation uniquely informs his approach to estate planning, where he leverages insights gained from litigating heirship, breach of fiduciary duty, financial responsibilities, and trustees’ duties to provide strategic counsel aimed at mitigating potential disputes.

Jonathan honed his advocacy skills at Loyola Law School, where he actively participated in the Byrne Trial Team and completed the Hobbes District Attorney Clinic.
His educational journey commenced with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California San Diego in Political Science, complemented by a minor in Theater, an asset that continues to enhance his performance in the courtroom.
