Our Story

More than 60 years ago, Harold T. Tredway founded TLD Law in Downey, California, to serve the growing community of Southeast Los Angeles County. Mr. Tredway envisioned a successful firm with a team of first-rate attorneys and staff armed with wide-ranging legal expertise to serve its client portfolio in various legal matters for the long term. The firm expanded into Orange County in 1988 by opening a second office in Irvine to serve its growing client roster of business owners and individuals. In 2000, the firm opened a third office in Long Beach to expand its presence in Los Angeles County. It has since opened a fourth location in Beverly Hills to cater to its clientele in that area. Over the years, TLD Law has emerged as a leading Southern California firm specializing in many different practice areas. It serves clients in every aspect of their business and lives.

TLD LAW 60 year timeline

At TLD Law, we are proud of our 60-plus year history. Our founding partner Harold Tredway established TLD Law as a small local law firm in Downey, California. Since the outset TLD Law has been dedicated to seeking justice for its clients with passion and integrity. From its humble beginnings TLD Law has grown into a dynamic regional law firm serving clients throughout Southern California from offices in Irvine, Long Beach, Beverly Hills and Downey.
