Brian Ramsey, an associate at TLD Law, LLP, joined the firm in 2014 and has been practicing as an attorney for fifteen years. While he has experience in litigation across a wide variety of cases, Mr. Ramsey focuses on litigated matters in the probate courts, including will contests, trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty, and contested conservatorships. He is also skilled in contract litigation, real estate litigation, and personal injury disputes.
With his focus on probate litigation, Mr. Ramsey appreciates the opportunity to assist families through what may be one of the most trying times in their lives: following the passing of a loved one. Mr. Ramsey guides our clients through what can prove to be challenging steps in the litigation process and is always motivated to bring the cases to a conclusion that meets the goals and needs of all concerned. He has prevailed for our clients in a variety of situations including mediation, informal settlement discussions, and trial.

While at Southwestern, he was the recipient of the Judge Barry Russell Award for Outstanding Achievement in Federal Courts and Practice in the fall of 2008. Besides clerking at Rose, Klein & Marias for two and a half years, Mr. Ramsey also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Long Beach Juvenile Division, where he adjudicated three cases to verdict. Following law school, Mr. Ramsey practiced in the personal injury space for five years before joining TLD Law.
Mr. Ramsey has lived in Long Beach since 2002 and is an active member of the community. Both of his children were born at Long Beach Memorial, and these days Mr. Ramsey coaches his kids in their various sporting endeavors. He has enjoyed umpiring for Long Beach and Cypress baseball games and has served on the Board for the East Long Beach Pony Baseball since 2015.
