Employment Law

TLD Law attorneys work with in-house counsel for Fortune 1000, public companies and privately held companies to guide them through the intricacies of employment law. We represent business owners and management for companies of all sizes in defense of employment disputes, and provide counseling and training to avoid problems before they occur.

Preventing Employment Disputes

Employment disputes can be messy, hurtful (especially in smaller companies), and expensive. While TLD Law aggressively advocates for our clients in the complex and sensitive area of employment law through sound, practical and understandable pre-litigation advice counseling, we also advise our companies on ways to avoid problems in the first place. At the outset, we make sure our clients create an employee manual that is in line with all federal and state employment laws. We insist that the company has their employees sign required work documents for taxes, and the like, and that managers monitor breaks and overtime. Every organization must have their supervisors conduct consistent, routine employee evaluations. We advocate for proper and professional workplace decorum at all times and provide training for managers on the topics of sexual harassment and other employer-employee interactions from interviewing and hiring to termination—and everything between.

When employment situations cannot be handled internally, our firm’s attorneys will be available to support you with trial work and representation before all work-related administrative agencies.
