The Senate passed its Tax Reform Bill over the weekend 51-49.  As mentioned in a previous brief, the House version eliminates spousal support (aka alimony) deductibility. The Senate version, however, makes no such mention which would leave one to assume the law would remain in its current state. A final reconciled version  between the two chambers remains to be seen. The media makes no mention of this particular provision.  More updates as information becomes available.
