Ms. Lumsdaine is a Partner at Tredway Lumsdaine and Doyle (TLD Law), a women and minority-owned firm that was founded in Downey in 1961. Since joining the firm in 2005, she has grown an award-winning practice in probate and trust litigation (including with contested fiduciary accountings, breach of fiduciary duty claims, Will or Trust contests, and financial elder abuse claims) as well as in guiding clients through their uncontested conservatorships, trust administrations and estate planning.  With her years of experience she is adept both at battling through the contested legal matters and working with clients to develop best practices to avoid litigation and disputes.

Active in her community, Ms. Lumsdaine has taught legal theories and practices as an adjunct professor in the Paralegal Department of Cerritos Community College, is a current board member with the Southeast District Bar Association, and St. Mary Medical Center Foundation (Long Beach) and an active volunteer with local Girl Scout Troop 143.

“Jennifer’s impact on the local legal community has been outstanding,†said TLD Law Partner Mark C. Doyle. “I’ve had the good fortune of working closely with Jennifer since she began her legal career at TLD Law. From Day One, she has always been committed to helping others around her. Whether it be her clients, her co-workers, or her colleagues in the legal community, she gives so much of her talent and time to others. She has earned the respect of her peers, and deserves recognition as an Attorney of the Year in the Southeastern District, if not the entire state.â€

Since the State Bar of California first recognized the SEDBA in 1934, the association has been bringing attorneys, judicial officers, and the public together to promote the law. Its membership consists of prosecutors, public defenders, private sector attorneys, and the local judiciary. Its mission is to enhance and serve the educational and professional needs of its members, to promote the integrity of the profession, to encourage collegiality and interaction with the judiciary, and to provide access to legal services and the judicial system.  Ms. Lumsdaine has a long history of service within SEDBA, having served as President in 2012 and served as a member of the board of trustees for the Southeast District Bar Association for over ten years.
