SUMMARY

Sindee Smolowitz, was born in Brooklyn, New York August 27, 1952 and is presently of counsel to Tredway, Lumsdaine & Doyle, LLP. She practices in the areas of business litigation, legal malpractice, attorney fee disputes, estate planning, real estate and business law and alternative dispute resolution. Sindee serves as a volunteer fee dispute mediator and arbitrator for the California State Bar, Long Beach Bar and Orange County Bar Fee Dispute programs, and is an LLM Candidate in ADR at Pepperdine School of Law, Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution. Sindee was admitted to the California Bar 1986 and the Washington D.C. Bar in 1998.

Sindee graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973 and received her Juris Doctor in 1986 from George Mason School of Law (Virginia). She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service from 1973-1986. Sindee's additional volunteer and pro bono activities include: former member of State Bar Committe on Alternative Dispute Resolution and State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct; Member and Vice-Chair Orange County Client Relations Committee (1995-1999); Member and Chair of State Bar Committee on Women In the Law (1996-1999); Pro Bono counsel to Aids Services Foundation/Orange County; Member of the Board of The Muse Project.
