Brian Ramsey is an associate at TLD Law. His practice focuses on litigation of a wide variety of cases. Mr. Ramsey primarily focuses on litigated matters in the probate courts, including will contests, trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty, and contested conservatorships. Mr. Ramsey is also experienced in other litigated matters, including contract litigation, real estate litigation and personal injury.
Mr. Ramsey joined the firm in 2014, and is proud to call TLD Law home. With his focus on probate litigation, Mr. Ramsey enjoys assisting clients through what may be the most difficult time in their lives, following the passing of a loved one. Mr. Ramsey guides our clients through the murky waters of the litigation process, always focused on bringing the cases to a conclusion that meets our clients’ goals and needs. He has prevailed for our clients in a variety of settings, including mediation, informal settlement discussions, and trial.
Mr. Ramsey has lived in Long Beach since 2002, and is a proud member of the community. Both of his children were born a Long Beach Memorial, and Mr. Ramsey is active in the community, coaching both his children in their various sporting endeavors, and also serving on the board of East Long Beach Pony Baseball since 2015.
Prior to joining TLD Law, Mr. Ramsey earned his BA from The University of Southern California in 2001, and graduated with his JD from Southwestern Law School in 2009. While at Southwestern, Mr. Ramsey was the recipient of the Judge Barry Russell Award for Outstanding Achievement in Federal Courts and Practice in the fall of 2008. In addition to clerking at Rose, Klein & Marias for 2 ½ years, Mr. Ramsey also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office Long Beach Juvenile division, where he adjudicated three cases to verdict. Following law school, Mr. Ramsey practiced personal injury for five years prior to joining TLD Law.
